NATCHEZ — Adams, Wilkinson, Jefferson and Franklin counties are under a tornado watch until 1 a.m., according to the National Weather Service’s Jackson office.

Concordia and Catahoula parishes are under at severe thunderstorm watch until 1 a.m. as well.

Severe storms are possible throughout the entire Miss-Lou as a low pressure system moves through. Storms could bring winds of at least 60 mph and large hail.

Heavy rainfall is also predicted and flooding is possible.

High winds are expected to continue through Sunday.
