Take a trip to Hollywood with Tide

Don’t miss a night of great entertainment as the Emerald Tide presents their Spring Show “Hollywood: A Girl Should be Two Things Classy & Fabulous!” At 7 p.m. Saturday in the Roy Garcia Gym at Cathedral School. The Emerald Tide Dance Team, along with some very special guests, will take the stage in an exciting show of dance, comedy, music and lots of surprises!

Green Wave football Coach Ron Rushing and senior football star Kahlil Bryce will emcee the evening with entertainment sure to please all ages. Saluting the seniors and the 2012-13 Emerald Tide team, the evening kicks off with “Hollywood Tonight” and will include lots of dance numbers (including the Boy Girl Dance!), and will also feature performances by Bryce McGlothin, The Little Waves, John Ashton Hicks, Terrance Jackson, the Jefferson Street Praise Band and Xavier Hawkins.

You’ll also have an opportunity to meet the Emerald Tide for the 2013-14 season. To top it off, there will also be a silent auction featuring some fabulous baskets including Let’s Go to the Beach, Girls Room Redo, Go Greenwave, Home Decor and Gardener’s Delight. It’s an evening not to be missed!

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased from any Emerald Tide member or at the door! The Emerald Tide is led by Robyn Martello Gregg and Paige Dollar Iseminger the 2012-13 Emerald Tide received numerous awards at camp at Southeastern University in Hammond, La. The team came home with an overall third-place award on their home routine, a superior trophy, an invitation to compete nationally and the spirit stick for great attitude. Zoe Flattmann, Sela Roberts, Presley Davis, Caitlyn Upton, Julia Rachel Kuehnle and Tori Bradford were all elected to be American All-Stars.

Paige Dollar Iseminger is the daughter of the original coach of the Emerald Tide, Cynthia Dollar. She danced on the Emerald Tide for three years while in high school. Paige was chosen as a UDA all-star twice. She performed in the Foley’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in Houston and the New Year’s Day parade in London. Paige coached the Tuscaloosa County Jazzcats Dance team while teaching in Alabama. This is her third year to coach the Emerald Tide.

Robyn Martello Gregg is an original member of the Emerald Tide and has 12 years of ballet. She was captain or co-captain on the Emerald Tide all four years of high school, competing in national competitions and at the Cotton Bowl Parade and halftime show in Dallas, and for a New Orleans Saints halftime show. At Mississippi State, she was a member of the MSU Pom Squad Dance Team. Upon returning to Natchez, she coached the Cathedral Middle School Dance team. This is her third year to coach the Emerald Tide.

Members of the 2013-2014 Emerald Tide include: Miranda Allen, Tori Bradford, Caroline Coffey, Carleigh Combs, Kaylee Carin, Presley Davis, Tori Edwards, Emily Hootsell, Julia Rachel Kuehnle, Jessie Moore, Caitlyn Upton, Claire Upton, Katie Wheat and Hannah White. Boy dancers include: Khalil Bryce, Andrew Beasley, Nic Webb, Peyton Jenkins, Terrence Jackson, Ty Brown, Bayard Watts, Thomas Garrity, Trey Hand, Evan Webber, Will Sandel and Xavier Hawkins.
