Adams County Sheriff Chuck Mayfield said the arrests stem from an apparent assault and robbery at 12:36 a.m. Friday at Riverwood Manor Apartments.

Griffin and Harris, as well as a juvenile who was arrested and another suspect who has not been arrested, called the victim and asked him to come outside.

“The subjects jumped on him and beat him with a pistol cutting his eye, breaking his nose and cutting his lip,” Mayfield said. “The suspects then took $600 from him and jumped in a vehicle and left the area.”

Mayfield said the investigation is ongoing and that deputies have leads on the fourth suspect involved.

No bond was set for Griffin or Harris as of late Monday.
