Supervisors hire new inventory clerk

NATCHEZ — The Adams County Board of Supervisors met Tuesday morning to interview and hire a new administrative assistant and inventory clerk.

Board President Darryl Grennell said the supervisors interviewed six candidates for the job. After the interviews, the board voted to hire Corvete McNeal for the position.

McNeal will start in two weeks, he said.

Grennell said the board did not take up any other action during the meeting.

    Why on earth are they hiring a inventory clerk for this should be part of Murrays’ job!! We have to many chiefs and not enough Indians for this could be done without a hire but the person must the kinfolk huh’??!! City and county must have both struck oil!!!!

    While this person is replacing Angela Hutchins’ old position which existed quite some time while Charles Brown was county administrator, the county is waiting to strike hospital, not oil.
