NATCHEZ — Services for Mildred Jean Wilson, 53, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Jerusalem Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sago officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 30, 1959, in Natchez, the daughter of Florastine Wilson and Ferd Swazy. She was a 1978 graduate of North Natchez High School. She was employed by Natchez-Adams School District as a special education nurse assistant.

Mrs. Wilson retired in 2003.

She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Leandrew Woods; grandparents, John and Pearl Wilson; and two uncles, Leroy Wilson and John Wilson Jr.

Survivors include her father; three children, Tammy Wilson and fiancé, Maurice, Jimmy Wilson and wife, Tequilla, and Bryan Wilson and fiancée, Yvette, all of Natchez; two sisters, Renee Woods and Tracy Woods; one brother, Lee Andy Woods, all of Natchez; and five grandchildren.
