Mr. and Mrs. Randy Sepulvado of Zwolle, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Crystal Evette Sepulvado, to Russell Brooks Barmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Janette of Natchez and Mr. Gary Barmer of Flowood.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Zwolle High School and a graduate of Northwestern State University College of Nursing in Natchitoches, La. She is employed by Overton Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center in Shreveport, La.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doris Sepulvado and the late Abrham Sepulvado and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cartinez, all of Zwolle.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Cathedral High School and a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He is also employed by Overton Brooks Veterans Administration Medical Center in Shreveport.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Filo Turner of Pensacola, Fla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Janette of Alexandria, La.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Friday, May 17, 2013, at Portofino Island Resort in Pensacola.

A reception will follow.

Family and friends are invited.
