NPD investigating Sunday pants robbery

NATCHEZ — Natchez Police are investigating a robbery in which a man literally had the pants robbed off of him.

According to a report filed at the Natchez Police Department, an officer responded at 12:28 a.m. Sunday to a business on the first block of East Franklin Street.

The report states that officers spoke with the owner of a business there, and the owner told them two males armed with handguns and wearing ski masks took his pants off of him.

The two suspects then fled the scene with the pants and got into a tan Ford Taurus, the report states.

The incident remains under investigation.
