Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Frisby of Cannonsburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Nedra Frisby, to Charles Edmond, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edmond of St. Louis.

The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Hattie Irving Frisby of Cannonsburg.

She is a graduate of Jefferson County High School in Fayette and a graduate of Alcorn State University in Lorman. She is employed by the Social Security Administration in New Orleans.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Frisby of Cannonsburg, the late Luther Chatman of Natchez and Ruth Shaw Ward of New Orleans.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of City High School in St. Louis and a graduate of Grambling State University in Grambling, La. He is employed by Alcorn State University in Lorman.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Johnson of St. Louis and the late Jack Edmond and Dawriene Posey of Dallas.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2013, at the Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort and Spa in Destin, Fla.

A reception will follow the ceremony.
