Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Dennig of Lake St. John announce the engagement of their granddaughter, Alexandra Margarete Roberts of Vidalia, to John William Perry III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Perry Jr., all of Baton Rouge.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dennis Franklin Roberts and the late Tracey Dennig Roberts of Vidalia.

She is also the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Ray Hendricks of Lake St. John and Mr. and Mrs. Bill Roberts of Vidalia.

Alex is a graduate of Cathedral High School, Louisiana State University and LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. She is employed by HR Solutions in Baton Rouge as an attorney.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Catholic High School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana State University and LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center. He is employed by Perry, Atkinson, Balhoff, Mengis and Burns Law Firm in Baton Rouge as an attorney.

He is the grandson of Mrs. John W. Perry Sr. of Zachary, the late Mr. Perry and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Cuneo of Chauvin, La.

The wedding will be at 7 p.m., Friday, July 19, 2013, at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.
