NATCHEZ — Services for Josephine C. Montgomery, 59, of Natchez, who died Thursday, May 30, 2013, at University Medical Center in Jackson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Aid Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Wright officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mrs. Montgomery was born Nov. 22, 1953, in Natchez, the daughter of Miller M. Montgomery and Mable Jackson. She was a 1973 graduate of South Natchez High School and received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Alcorn State University in 1978.

She was employed by International Paper Company.

Mrs. Montgomery was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include two loving daughters, Timeka Montgomery of Buford, Ga., and Melanie Hawkins of Natchez; one brother, Wilford E. Perkins of Natchez; one stepson, Malcolm Hawkins of Destin, Fla.; a special daughter and son, Audra Dottrey and Orlando Dottrey, both Houston; three grandchildren, Zoriah Hawkins, Keilan Hawkins and Mekaylah Hawkins, all of Natchez; a special friend of the family, Moses Dyer of Natchez; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
