NATCHEZ — Services for Robert Alvin “Red” Montgomery, 61, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at his residence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Forest Aide Baptist Church with the Rev. James Brooks Sr. officiating.

Burial will follow at Providence Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Montgomery was born Sept. 15, 1951, in Adams County, the son of Marion and Ruth Montgomery.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph and Marion Montgomery.

Survivors include his loving wife, Paulette Montgomery; one son, Brandon L. Montgomery; two daughters, Courtney Flores and Carolyn York; two grandchildren, DeNaisia Smith and Stefanie Armstrong; one grandson, Cortland Smith; one brother, Tayyab S. Jalaalli-EL; one sister, B. Na’imah Combs; one godson, Calijah Drake; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
