NATCHEZ — Services for Archie Leon Tucker Jr., 48, of Natchez, who died Friday, June 21, 2013, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Meadville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church “The Vision Center” with the Rev. Robert Tucker officiating.

Burial will follow at Sunset View Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Natchez.

Mr. Tucker was born Dec. 17, 1964, in Natchez, the son of Archie Leon Tucker Sr. and Ruthie Blanton Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Annie Laura Hess and Clora Green Goings; and grandfathers, Leroy “Mike” Tucker, Ike Goings and Frank Blanton.

Survivors include his wife, Denise Thomas Tucker; his parents; six children, Terrylyn Newman Tucker, Dene’Shara Tucker, Denecia Tucker, Archie L. Tucker III, Ollie Thomas and Sanko’Fa Thomas; four stepchildren, Tremain Thomas, Javarus Thomas, Mercedes Thomas and Shaquille Thomas; four grandchildren, Madyson Donald, Patrick Donald Jr., Carleigh Williams and Kamsea Bethel; and a number of other relatives and friends.
