Victoria Jestelle Drew of Many, La., and Ronald Gillespie of Ferriday announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Rondell Gillespie, to James Christopher Thames, son of Hugh and Carolyn Thames of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is employed by All Star Recovery, LLC, in Natchez.

She is the granddaughter of Jack S. Drew Jr. and the late JoAnn Drew of Many and Sue Gillespie and the late Harry D. Gillespie of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and is employed by Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia.

He is the grandson of the late Eugene and Myrtis Green of Natchez and the late James A. and Bertha Thames of Vidalia.

The wedding will be at 5 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2013, at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.

A reception will follow at the VFW Building in Natchez.
