Vidalia hosts health fair at City Hall today
VIDALIA — Vegetable Bingo, free health screenings and information about how to live a healthier life are all a part of Vidalia’s Community Health Fair today.
The health fair begins at 9 a.m. at Vidalia City Hall.
The fair will include educational demonstrations and presentations, games and healthy snacks for attendees, all free of charge.
LSU AgCenter extension agent Sara Nuss said the fair provides an opportunity for locals to learn how to make small changes to live a healthier life.
“There will be something for the kids and mom and dad, the whole family,” Nuss said. “This is all about raising community awareness about some common health problems and other issues in the community.”
Vendors will also be selling food and crafts outside of city hall following the conclusion of the health fair.
