Adams County Justice Court Cases

Week of July 12-18:

Landell Scott charged with two counts of sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Scott was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Rueben Scott pleaded guilty to false identification.

Robert Earl Minor charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Devron Green charged with smuggling contraband. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Kevin Delaughter charged with domestic violence. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Johnny Johansson charged with failure to register as a sex offender. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, July 12:

Kenneth Lamar Bradford, 30, charged with violating the city’s noise ordinance. Fine set at $338. Bench warrant for his arrest.

Jonathan Hollis, 24, found guilty of violating the city’s noise ordinance. Court costs set at $104.

Jon Adams Jr., 41, charged with fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer in a motor vehicle. Case remanded to files.

Maurice E. Davis, 51, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $223.

Lilly M. Thomas, 50, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Alexander Bequette, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $573.

Anna King, 32, pleaded guilty to petit larceny. Fine set at 10 days with nine days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 24 hours in jail. Fine set at $423. King was also charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case remanded to files.

Brandon Patterson pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $573.
