LAS VEGAS — Graveside services for Peggy Stalians, 79, of Las Vegas, who died Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013, will be 9:30 a.m. today at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Boulder City Family Mortuary in Boulder City, Nev.

Mrs. Stalians was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Roswell, N.M.

During her 62 years of marriage as an U.S. Army officer’s wife, she moved the family all over the world. She was the family rock.

Survivors include her loving husband, Fred; four children, Lorraine of Las Vegas, formerly of Vidalia, Gayle of Madera, Calif., Susan of Ferriday and Scott of Fresno, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was the best wife and mother anyone could ask for .

While heaven rejoices her arrival, her family is grieving her loss.
