BLOOMBURG, Texas — Iris Lee Burr Mangum, 78, of Bloomburg, Texas, died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013, with her husband, Bo Mangum, by her side.

Mrs. Mangum was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Bessie Matthews Smith; her first husband, Lloyd Burr; and three brothers, C.L. Smith, Billy Smith and Vester Smith.

Survivors include her husband, James “Bo” Mangum; three sons, Steve Burr and wife, Frances, of Meadville, Danny Burr and wife, Marne, of Madison and Bob Burr and wife, Shelby, of Vicksburg; three brothers, Bennie Smith and wife, Vida Ann, of Memphis, Tenn., Lester Smith and wife, Pat, of Natchez and Tommy Smith of Madisonville, La.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
