“Our girls, the whole host of Lady Rebels got to see action today,” ACCS head coach Jimmy Allgood said. “I’m very proud of the passing and trapping that took place throughout the game.”

Parker scored her first two goals about a minute apart, the first one in the 22nd minute after dribbling the ball past several defenders and the second in the 23rd minute with an assist from Anna Babb.

Eidt scored her goal in the 36th minute with an assist from Anna Kate Scott that gave ACCS a 3-0 led. Brookhaven Academy scored in the 39th minute to make it a 3-1 game at halftime.

The Lady Rebels went up 4-1 when Parker scored her third goal of the match with an assist from Katie Russ at the 50th minute. Just eight minutes later, the Lady Cougars responded with a goal of their own that cut the lead to 4-2.

But in the 65th minute, Parker’s fourth goal, which slipped by all defenders, put the match away as ACCS had a 5-2 advantage. Brookhaven Academy scored its final goal in the 76th minute on a penalty kick.

“Jordan Parker, scoring four goals today, was an amazing day for that young lady,” Allgood said. “That probably puts her well over a dozen (goals).”

ACCS (4-3, 2-2) doesn’t play again until 4 p.m. Tuesday at home against Brookhaven Academy. The Lady Rebels’ match scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at home against Veritas has been canceled.
