Lady Rams defeated by errors

ST. JOSEPH, La. — The Tensas Academy Chiefs took advantage of several miscues by Wilkinson County Christian Academy to defeat the Lady Rams 6-3 Thursday afternoon in MAIS District 7-A action.

“Hannah Lanehart pitched a good game, but we had too many errors,” WCCA head coach Mike McGraw said. “She deserved a better fate.”

WCCA (2-9, 1-4) won’t play again until 5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 9 at Franklin Academy.

Franklin Academy-Trinity Episcopal game rescheduled again

NATCHEZ — The rematch between the Franklin Academy Lady Cougars and the Trinity Episcopal Lady Saints in a key MAIS District 7-A game for both teams will have to wait. It will now take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at the Concordia Recreation District 3 Complex in Vidalia, where Trinity plays its home games.
