NATCHEZ — Services for Ben Edward Moore, 71, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church with the Rev. Anthony Colenburg officiating.

Burial will follow at Bedford Family Cemetery in Natchez under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore was born Jan. 12, 1942, in Natchez, the son of Roosevelt Moore Sr. and Addie Moore.

Mr. Moore was retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Terence Moore; three sisters, Lauretta Moore, Mary Paxton and Bessie Moore; and five brothers, Jimmie Moore, Albert Stewart, Robert Moore, Frederick Moore and Roosevelt Moore Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, VaTrice Moore of Chicago; three grandchildren, TaKari, Tariq and Terence, all of Chicago; one brother, Charles Moore and wife, Mamie, of Natchez; and two sisters, Annie Jones and husband, Howard, of Natchez and Marguerite Moore of Ferriday.
