Week of Aug. 23-29:

Deonice Jones charged with grand larceny. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Cameron Collier charged with DUI related causes. Case bound over to a grand jury.

William C. Bradley charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury. Bradley was also charged with possession of marijuana. Case remanded to files.

Charles Woods Jr. charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Frederick Hauer charged with sale of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Gary Bordelon pleaded guilty to trespassing — less than larceny.

Roberto Alejandro charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Janella D. Camara charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

McKinly Brady charged with possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Franklin Shannon charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Keimon Brice charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Case bound over to a grand jury.

Natchez Municipal Court Cases

Friday, Aug. 23:

Derrick T. Jackson, 35, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. Case dismissed at recommendation of prosecutor for victim failed to appear.

Donderic M. Minor, 34, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Richard T. Norman III, 20, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $573.

Scott H. Knapp, 20, found guilty of misdemeanor false information. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $423.

Curtis Sanders, 39, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to serve 13 days from arrest date. Fine set at $323.

Justin May pleaded guilty to false pretense. Total fine set at $480.45 minus $250 paid. Must pay remaining fine of $230.45.

 

Monday, Aug. 26:

Robert Brady, 31, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Kietra N. Mcdonald, 38, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 28 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve two days in jail. Fine set at $573.

Malcolm Daniel Cloy Jr., 24, pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace. Sentenced to 30 days with 25 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Credit for five days already served. Fine set at $373.

Tucarlious Moore pleaded guilty to disturbing the peace — domestic violence. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $473. Restitution set at $100 to Valerie Moore.

 

Wednesday, Aug. 28:

Drew Key, 19, charged with disturbing the peace, but upon recommendation of prosecution and officers, charge is amended to loitering for remaining outside the area of Andrew’s Bar after being told to clear the area following a fight inside the bar. Sentenced to five days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Andrew’s Bar and Dimples. Fine set at $423 with $223 suspended. Must pay a fine of $200.

Justin Neal Spann, 23, charged with disturbing the peace, but upon recommendation of prosecution and officers, charge is amended to loitering for remaining outside the area Andrew’s bar after being told to clear the area following a fight inside the bar. Angela Carrie Strahan, 42, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Candy Ann White, 57, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 15 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve 15 days in jail. Banned from Belk. Fine set at $573.

Wyneka Pernell, 18, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from Family Dollar. Fine set at $573.
