NATCHEZ — Services for Charles Howard, 69, of Natchez , who died Monday Sept. 16, 2013, at Natchez Community Hospital, will be at noon Saturday at Daughter’s of Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Darnell Butler officiating.

Burial will follow under the direction of Robert D. Mackel and Sons Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Howard was born on Nov. 23, 1943, the son of the Rev. Shed Howard Sr. and Marie Rice Howard.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, James Webb, Isaac Sewell, Phillip Howard, and Lee Oscar Howard.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela “Rita” O’neal, three sisters, Permellia Myles and husband William, Carrie Howard Holmes and Dorothy Carter all of Natchez; one brother, Shed Howard Jr. of Temple, Texas; extended aunts, Lucinda Terrell and husband, J.T., Betty Minor, and Louise Dunmore and husband Horace all of Natchez; three grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
