NATCHEZ — Services for Edith Koerber Piazza, 98, of Natchez, who died Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Natchez Regional Medical Center will be at 2 p.m. Monday, at Laird Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O’Connor officiating.

Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery under the direction of Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Monday at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Piazza was born Feb. 18, 1915, in Natchez, the daughter of George Joseph Koerber and Lenore Guetreux Koerber. She was a member of St. Mary Basilica, St. Mary Alter Society, Historic Natchez Foundation and Natchez Art Association. She was the Public Information Chairman for the Adams County Heart Association for a number of years.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Piazza Jr. of Clinton and George K. Piazza of Natchez; one niece, Lenore O’Malley of Jackson; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
