NATCHEZ— Funeral services for James McKnight, 62, of Natchez, who died Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2013, at Glenburney Nursing Home will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Second Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Strickland officiating.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Bateaste Memorial Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home chapel.

Mr. McKnight was born Jan. 13, 1951, in Adams County, the son of Elijah Isaac and Frances McKnight.

He was a baptist and a member of the Linwood Society.

Mr. McKnight was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard McKnight; and niece, Sandra McKnight.

Survivors include a daughter, LaToya Boykin of Chicago; three sisters, Francis McKnight, Gloria Belton, and Martha Blake, all of Natchez; granddaughter, Mari Boykin of Chicago; three aunts, Ida Newman of Vidalia, Gertrude Wilson, and Alma Fleming, both of Natchez; nephew, George Belton Jr.; four nieces, Kimberly McKnight, Shelia McKnight, Courtney McKnight, and Erika James, all of Natchez.
