Curry Marie Johnson and Barry Elder Lann were united in marriage at 6 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19, 2013, at Rayne Memorial United Methodist Church in New Orleans.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Carol Winn Crawford and the Rev. Shane Gibson.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Lester Wayne Johnson of Rayville, La., and Dr. Deborah Johnson and Mr. Lee Bairnsfather of Lafayette, La.

She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Irene Doucet and the late Mr. Gerald K. Doucet of Opelousas, La. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Lester Johnson of Rayville, La.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Lann, formerly of Natchez. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Garvin P. Lancaster of Kossuth and the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Nash Lann of Verona.

Ashley Cumpton Thom served as maid of honor. Amanda McGilton Johnson served as a bridesmaid.

Rencher Lancaster Lann served as his brother’s best man. Also serving as a groomsman was the groom’s father, Andrew J. Lann. Lester Wayne Johnson Jr., Thomas Armistead Johnson and Patrick Lee Johnson served as ushers.

Audrey Louise Weatherly and Anna Grace Boudreaux served as flower girls.

Henry Wilson Smith and Newell Kent Watkins Jr. were ring bearers. Katherine Mosely Smith and Rachel Carpenter Farmer were ceremony readers.

The bride is a graduate of Riverfield Academy, Louisiana State University and Mississippi College School of Law. She is an attorney with the Louisiana Senate.

The groom is a graduate of Natchez High School and Mississippi State University School of Architecture. He is an architect with Rozas-Ward Architects in New Orleans.

A reception was at the Roosevelt Hotel Blue Room.

Following a honeymoon trip to Europe, the couple will make their home in Baton Rouge.
