ROXIE— Funeral services for Nathaniel Brown, 81, of Roxie, who died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013, at Franklin Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Triumph the Kingdom of God in Christ in Bude.

Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at the church, under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home in Bude.

Mr. Brown was born Oct. 11, 1932, the son of Samuel Brown and Hattie Mae Brown.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Ruth Webster, Naomi Walters, Julia Nelson and Betty Jean Brown; three brothers, James Brown, Prince Samuel Brown and Roscoe Brown.

Survivors includes his loving wife, Bonnie Beverly Brown; one daughter, Sharon Matthews; one son, Nathaniel Brown; three stepdaughters, Pamela Bowser, Regina Brennan and Star Beard; one stepson, Timothy Henderson; two sisters, Dorothy Brown and Mary Bell Tucker; one brother, Charles Edward Brown; five grandchildren, Domonique Townes, Devon Bowser, Kristen Robertson, Carl Robertson and Candace Robertson; four great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
