VIDALIA — Isiah Thompson led four Vidalia High School players in double figures with a game-high 24 points as the Vikings rallied in the fourth quarter to defeat the Tensas High School Panthers 65-62 Monday night.

After the first quarter ended in a 13-13 tie, it appeared that Tensas High was on its way to handing Vidalia its first loss of the young season after the Panthers outscored the Vikings 21-19 in the second quarter and 17-13 in the third quarter for a 51-45 lead.

However, the Vikings turned to their defense, which forced numerous turnovers that led to easy lay-ups and slam dunks. They ended up outscoring the Panthers 20-11 in the fourth quarter to escape with the win.
