Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Theard of Laplace, La., announce the engagement of their daughter, Kori Kenton-Marie Theard to Michael James Peter Telich, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Telich II of Columbus, Ohio.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of St. Charles Catholic High School in Laplace and is a graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, La.

She is employed by RE/MAX Professional in Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Junkin of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Theard of Vidalia.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Worthington Kilbourne High School Columbus, Ohio.

He is the owner of Telich Custom Homes, LLC in Baton Rouge.

He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Telich, Sr. of Euclid, Ohio and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Svigel of Euclid, Ohio.

The wedding will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Baton Rouge.

A reception will follow at The LSU Faculty Club.
