VIDALIA — Vidalia High School head football coach Gary Parnham Jr. confirmed in a text message Sunday he resigned as head football coach Friday.

Parnham compiled a 5-35 record in four seasons of coaching the Vikings. This year’s team finished 2-8 overall. He declined to comment on the matter further.
