ACCS Rebels soccer win in shootout

PORT GIBSON — Dylan Galbreath and Lester Wells made their penalty kicks, and keeper Zach Pintard kept Chamberlain-Hunt Academy out of the net as the Adams County Christian School boys soccer team won in a penalty kick shootout Wednesday.

With the game tied 2-2 at the end of regulation, Wells and Galbreath secured the win for ACCS with help from Pintard’s defense. The win improved ACCS to 12-3 on the season.

Wells and Trey Fleming both scored goals for ACCS in regulation, and the game was tied 1-1 at the half. The Rebels’ next game will be at home Jan. 29 versus Copiah Academy.
