Ms. Mary Evelyn Cupit of Vidalia and Mr. and Mrs. Gery Cupit of McCall Creek announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Kristen Cupit to Eric Braden Anders, son of Deborah Anders of Natchez and Burt Anders of Fayette.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and is a graduate of the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

She is employed by Franklin County School District in Meadville.

She is the granddaughter of Walter Stampley and the late Lamathelle Stampley of Vidalia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Cupit of Ferriday.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Adams County Christian School in Natchez.

He is employed by Blake International in Houma, La.

He is the grandson of Kathleen Wheeler and the late Earl Wheeler of Natchez and Betty Anders and the late James Anders of Fayette.

The wedding will be 6 p.m. March 8, 2014, at First Presbyterian Church in Natchez.

A reception will follow at the Natchez Community Center.

Formal invitations will be sent.
