GEISMAR, La. — BASF sites in Louisiana recently launched several new information resources for the local community.

Area residents can learn how BASF is creating chemistry for a sustainable future through social media sites, an e-newsletter and a local website that feature site news, career opportunities, employee volunteerism, economic impact and community activities in the region.

“As part of our global commitment to actively support the communities in which our sites are located, these new local communications tools will enhance our open dialog and connection with our neighbors,” said Tom Yura, senior vice president and manager of the BASF site in Geismar, La.
