Mr. and Mrs. James Malloy Annison Sr. of Brandon announce the engagement of their daughter, Carrie Denise Annison, to William Bedford Pollard Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William B. Pollard Sr. of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Northwest Rankin High School in Brandon and is a graduate of Holmes Community College with a liberal arts degree. She hopes to further her education at Mississippi College in fall of 2014.

She is employed by Mississippi Department of Human Services in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McWilliams and Mrs. Wanda Annison of Jackson and the late Mr. H.H. Annison.

The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Cathedral High School in Natchez and is a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Business degree with an emphasis on banking and finance.

He is employed by 3Si Security Systems of Exton, Pa.

He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott of Natchez and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willie Pollard.

The wedding will be Saturday, March 29, 2014, at The Cotton Market in Pearl.

A reception will follow.
