Pete Cascio and Pamela Bates of Hattiesburg announce the engagement of their daughter, Kayla Cascio to Blair Pyron, son of Bernie Pyron of Natchez and Paulette Templeton of St. Francisville, La.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Seminary High School in Seminary and a graduate of Mississippi College in Clinton.

She is employed by Gathings Insurance Partners in Jackson.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Cascio of Hattiesburg, Mr. and Mrs. Don Brown, and the late Carey M. Blackburn of Hattiesburg.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal School in Natchez and Mississippi State University in Starkville.

He is employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield in Jackson.

He is the grandson of the late Wallace and Sue Pyron and the late Earl and Ethel Dore.

The wedding will be 5 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2014 at the Phillips Covered Bridge in Hattiesburg.
