FAYETTE — Services for Emily Lorraine Walker, 56, of Fayette, who died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, will be at 1 p.m. today at Greater Faith Worship Center with the Rev. J. L. Hammitte officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill No. 1 Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at the church.

Ms. Walker was born April 22, 1957, in McNair, the daughter of Louis and Mable Hammitte Walker.

Ms. Walker was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Archie McDonald; one son, Patrick Walker; one grandson, Donavon Walker; one brother, Melvin Walker; and one sister, Elizabeth Burgman.

Survivors include one son, Eddie Walker; one daughter, La’Keisha Walker; one grandson, Durian Walker; four granddaughters, Alexis Walker, Kianna Walker, Azalia Walker and Kelijah Jackson; two brothers, Curly Hammitte and Micheal DeVault; one sister, Rosie Pierce; one god daughter, Joycelyn Herrington; one god given daughter, Heidi Smith; two special nieces, Tami Burgman and Kanesha Burgman; and a number of other relatives and friends.
