PASS CHRISTIAN — Services for Floyd J. Logan, 73, who died Sunday, March 16, 2014, at his residence, will be at 6 p.m. Thursday at Holy Family Catholic Church in Pass Christian.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mr. Logan was born the son of William E. Logan Sr. and Mary Gabriella Byrne Logan.

Subsequent to his retirement from the bench as judge, he re-entered the practice of law in Gulfport, which he continued until the time of his death. He was admitted to all State and Federal Courts in Mississippi and Louisiana.

Mr. Logan was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Henry Logan, Charles Logan and Eddie Logan of Bay St. Louis; one sister, Mary Gabriella Logan Pollingue; and two brothers-in-law, Keith Hardie, who in World War II served as a Navy Dive Bomber Polit in the Pacific and Art Burress.

Survivors include his wife, Berinda Logan; three sons, Joseph Logan, Charles Logan and James Logan; one daughter, Gina Logan; one brother, William E. Logan Jr. of Lafayette; three sisters, Margaret Logan Hardie and Mildred Logan Burress, both of New Orleans and Ann Logan Mills and husband, Gordon J. Mills Jr. of Lafayette; and a number of nephews and nieces in Mississippi and Louisiana.
