NATCHEZ — Services for Lolita T. Kendall, 64, of Natchez, who died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, in Natchez, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Stanley Searcy officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Cemetery under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.lolita Toles Kendall obit pic

Visitation will be from 5 to 5:45 p.m. today at the funeral home with a “Celebration of Life” Wake Service at 6 p.m. and from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church.

Mrs. Kendall was born Aug. 15, 1949, in Natchez, the daughter of Tom Toles and Vivian Graham.

She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her master’s in guidance counseling.

She was an Academic Advisor at Copiah-Lincoln Community College until her retirement.

She was a Baptist and a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kendall was preceded in death by her mother.

Survivors include her father, Tom Toles Sr. and wife, Mary Lee; one son, Robert Kendall III and wife, Inez, of Cary, N.C.; one daughter, Yolanda Mosley and husband, Reo, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one brother, Tom Toles Jr. and wife, Darlene; three sisters, Deborah Hardin, Nicole Green and husband, James, of Natchez, and Shannon Johnson and husband, Mack, of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren, Jazmen Dancy, Alliyah Graden, Ria Mosley, Anyia Kendall and Ashleigh Kendall; and a number of other relatives and friends.
