ferriday — The Concordia Parish Chamber of Commerce will host its annual golf scramble Thursday at Panola Woods Country Club.

Adding to the lure of potentially taking home a Performance Dodge with a hole in one on the course, executive Jamie Wiley is expecting the best turnout yet for the three-man scramble.

“We have 19 teams, and we’ve had to turn away several more because we couldn’t take anymore,” Wiley said.

Without revealing any of them, Wiley hinted that the event would showcase several great door prizes.

For those participating in the event, the fish fry will begin at 11:30 a.m., and a shotgun tee-off will commence at 1 p.m.
