NATCHEZ — An Adams County man was charged Monday with statutory rape in a case involving a juvenile.

An Adams County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson said Jeremy Todd Hula, 37, 22 T. Waring Bennett Jr. Road, was charged, but declined to provide additional information about the case.

Hula has been arrested multiple times in Adams County on charges of driving under the influence, simple domestic violence, trespassing and disturbing the peace, as well as for second-degree battery in Concordia Parish in 2011.

He was being held in the Adams County Jail on a $50,000 bond Tuesday evening.
