Kaitlin and Cody Pace of Natchez are happy to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their mother, April Sansone, to James Sturgeon, son of Mr. John and Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Sturgeon of Vidalia.

The bride-to-be is a graduate in Vidalia High School and a graduate of Paul Mitchell Beauty School in Louisiana.

She is a self-employed cosmetologist at Toby Salon in Natchez.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Sansone of Texas and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wedgeworth of Vidalia.

She is the granddaughter of the late Ms. Doris Long of Vidalia, the late Mr. Kenneth Watson of Texas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sansone of Monroe.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School and a graduate of John Brown University of Arkansas.

He is employed at Atwood Oceanics of Texas.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Marjorie Sturgeon and the late Mr. Millard Sturgeon of Monterey and Mrs. Mable Bryan and the late Mr. Johnny Bryan of Wildsville.

The wedding will be at 6 p.m., Saturday, May 10, 2014, on the grounds of the Historic Jefferson College in Natchez.

A small reception will follow at the college.

Family and friends are invited.
