NATCHEZ — A memorial service for Lynda Dorgan Partridge, 71, of Vidalia, who died Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Ferriday, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Laird Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 1 p.m. Monday until time of services at the funeral home.

Mrs. Partridge was born Sept. 30, 1942, in Baton Rouge, the daughter of Gordie and Gwendolyn Dorgan. She served as the school secretary for Vidalia Junior High School in Vidalia from the late 1980’s to 2003. She was also an active member of the Vidalia Girls Softball Program from 1963 to 1994.

Mrs. Partridge was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Carol Gray.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Partridge; her daughter, Charlyn Partridge and fiancé Doug Haywick; her grandson, Brayden Partridge; her sister, Ruth Dorgan,; her sister-in-law, Willie Mae Guillory; her nieces, Jo Gray-Greer and Meri Gray; her nephews and other relatives and friends.

Flowers may be sent to Laird Funeral Home or, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ellis Malone Foundation.
