Mr. and Mrs. Michael L. Rice of Woodville announce the engagement of their daughter, Spenser Katherine Rice to Michael Lane Dykes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mark L. Dykes of Centreville.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Wilkinson County Christian Academy in Woodville.

She is employed by Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge.

She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mack Bunch of Woodville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Owen M. Rice of Woodville.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Centreville Academy in Centreville.

He is employed by Woolfork Machinery in Zachary, La.

He is the grandson of Mrs. Elliot Corcoran and the late Elliot Corcoran of Slaughter, La., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Felix Dykes of Central, La.

The wedding will be at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2014, in Orange Beach, Ala.

A reception will follow.
