Russell and Angela Wagoner of Vidalia announce the engagement of their daughter, Rachael Cameron Wagoner to Lance “Shug” Lambert, son of Stella Lambert and the late Bobby Lambert of Natchez.

The bride-to-be is a graduate of Vidalia High School and a graduate of Alcorn State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

She is the granddaughter of Roy and Ivie Wagoner of Ferriday and Jean Miller and Harold Clark of Scotland.

The groom-to-be is a graduate of Natchez High School and a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln Community College with associate’s degree in electronic technology.

He is the grandson of the late Sam and Frances Gates of Natchez and the late Clyde and Rosalie Stewart of Natchez.

The wedding will be at 3 p.m., Saturday, May 24, 2014, at the bride’s family home, Cozy Corners Plantation, in Vidalia.

A reception will follow.

No formal invitations will be sent.
