Rachel Leigh Garber and John Hunter Dale were united in holy matrimony April 26, 2014, at Brandon Hall, home of the bride’s parents in Natchez, with the Rev. Walton Jones of Trinity Episcopal Church officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Dale Garber of Lafayette. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nola Comeaux and the late Mr. George Comeaux and the late Mr. Harry Lee Garber all of Broussard, La., and Mr. Russell Martinez and the late Mrs. Jeanne Martinez of Lafayette.

The bride is a graduate of St. Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette and is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

She is the owner and event coordinator of Brandon Hall Plantation Bed and Breakfast and wedding venue in Natchez.

The groom is the son of Mr. John Dale IV and Mrs. Marcia McCullough both of Natchez. He is the grandson of Mrs. Jeznette Ellis and the late Mr. Eugene Ellis of Mobile, Ala. and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Dale III of Vidalia.

He is a graduate of Trinity Episcopal Day School in Natchez, Southern Methodist University in Dallas and earned a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Texas in Austin.

He is the owner and director of Griswold Home Care of Baton Rouge.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father.

The bride was attended by matron of honor, Andrea Garber Ardoin, and maid of honor, Rebecca Garber, sisters of the bride.

Bridesmaids were Emily Dale and Lara Griffiths, sisters of the groom, Whitney Andrus Ashy, Taryn Breaux, Reneé Davis, Sarah Herbert Fleming, Denise Bernard McCann, Kortney Raeuchle West, Mandy Powell, and Brittany Deshotels Ramiez.

The groom was attended by best men, John Dale IV, father of the groom and Peter Dale, brother of the groom. The groomsmen were Blanding Beatty, Austin Boyd, Eric Burns, Nathan Burns, Dan Fuchs, Zach Jex, William McGehee, Christopher Prest and Luke Shagets.

Lexi Hotard served as flower girl. Readers were Alex Dale and Stephanie Bernard.

A reception took place at the home of the bride’s parents.

Following a wedding trip to the British Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Baton Rouge.
