Those who want to participate can enter the scramble for $125. Butler said the entry fee covers lunch, green and cart fees, range balls and the closing reception.

Butler said the money raised would be contributed to several local agencies.

“The tournament is a fundraising event we have every year to raise money for about 20 agencies in the community that we donate to,” Butler said.

There will be additional prizes for categories such as best team score, longest drive and closest to the hole. A hole-in-one on green No. 16 reward is a new Toyota Camry.

Butler said there would be even be prize giveaways for those who don’t compete in the scramble.

“We will have a helicopter ball drop, and we’re going to sell balls for $20,” Butler said. “The person that gets closest to hole receives half the money from the pot and a trip to a resort.

“We are giving away more prizes to The Golden Nugget Casino in Biloxi and the Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, La., so people have more of an opportunity to win something.”

Butler said there would also be a local artist donating paintings for prizes as well.
