CROSSETT, ARK. — Memorial services for Theresa Smith Carter, 59, of Crossett, who died Monday, June 9, 2014, in Crossett, will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Clayton Hales officiating.

Mrs. Carter was born Nov. 23, 1954, in Natchez, the daughter of Billy Gene and Etta Anita Page Smith.

She was a homemaker and a member of Judson Missionary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Billy Gene Smith Jr.; her stepdad, David Thomas Bradley, and her grandparents.

Survivors include her husband, Richard N. “Rick” Carter; two sons, Richard Jason Carter and wife, Sheila, of Greenbrier, Ark., and Justin Neil Carter of Hot Springs; one daughter, Amber Michelle Willink of Crossett; one brother, David Smith of Meadville; one sister, Deborah Ann Sullivan and husband, Bo, of Meadville; six grandchildren, Elizabeth and Mary Willink, Grant and Hannah Carter and Branden and Ashlyn Jones; a special friend that was like a sister, Marion “Moocat” Leggett of Meadville; and a number of nephews, nieces and friends.
