NATCHEZ — Memorial services for Gilbert Byron “GB” Collins, 81, of High Point, N.C., formerly of Hattiesburg, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Linden.

Services were under the direction of Culby Funeral Services in High Point.

Mr. Collins was born July 11, 1932, in Hattiesburg, the son of Gilbert Byron Collins Sr. and Lillian Collins.

Mr. Collins was in the U.S. Marine Corps serving as a corpsman for the U.S. Navy in the Korean War.

For 20 years, he and his wife, Celice, traveled the globe.

His greatest skill was his charismatic ability to engage people.

Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his beloved partner of 21 years, Celice Feltus; three children, Jay, Craig and Laura Collins; one brother, Frank; and two sisters, Pat and Linda.
