Thursday, June 12:

Jamarius T. Jackson, who was convicted of simple robbery on June 26, 2013, and sentenced to one year in the Mississippi Department of Corrections suspended and placed on probation for one year, has his probation terminated in Judge Lillie Blackmon Sanders’ court after conforming to the conditions of said probation and conducting himself in a law-abiding manner.

Wednesday, May 21:

Ieisha Washington pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery in Judge Sanders’ court. The court withholds acceptance of the defendant’s plea and enters an order of non-adjudication of guilt and imposition of sentence, provided successful completion of the conditions imposed in this order. Must pay all court costs, a $200 prosecution fee and restitution in the amount of $1,265.40 within six months from May 19 in the office of the Adams County Clerk.

Harry Lee Anderson Jr. pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery (count No. 1) in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to one year in MDOC. After serving one day, the defendant is placed on 364 days post-release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of the MDOC. Full credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs immediately in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. Must pay a prosecution fee of $200 within 30 days from May 19 in the Office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk and restitution in the amount of $764.22 All court costs, prosecution fees and restitution shall be paid in full in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within 90 days from May 19.

Tuesday, May 20:

Lawrence Green, who was charged with burglary of a dwelling, has his case entered nolle prosequi in Judge Sanders’ court for the reason that the defendant has been revoked in Cause No. 12-KR-0079-S and sentenced to serve five years in MDOC.

Terry Jerome Bindon pleaded guilty to misdemeanor petit larceny in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to serve a period of 180 days in the county jail, suspended, conditioned up defendant complying with all terms of this order in a timely fashion; pay court costs and a prosecution fee to the Circuit Clerk of Adams County, Mississippi in the amount of $622.50 by June 1; pay restitution in the amount of $500 to the Circuit Clerk of Adams County, Mississippi by Aug. 1; the total amount due from defendant is $1,122.50. Defendant must make all payments in a timely fashion. If payments are not paid timely, the defendant, if found in this jurisdiction, shall be incarcerated and held for contempt, until such time as all payments are received by the circuit clerk; be placed on non-reporting probation for one year.

Monday, May 19:

Ashley Jenkins pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery (count No. 2) in Judge Sanders’ court. The court withholds acceptance of the defendant’s plea and enters an order of non-adjudication of guilt and imposition of sentence, provided successful completion of the conditions imposed in this order. Must pay all court costs immediately in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk and a $200 prosecution fee in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within 30 days from this day. Must pay restitution in the amount of $1,292.00 and court costs and prosecution fees in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within 120 days from this day.

Thursday, May 8:

Datarrius Matthews pleaded guilty to uttering a forgery in Judge Sanders’ court. The court withholds acceptance of the defendant’s plea and enters an order of non-adjudication of guilt and imposition of sentence, provided successful completion of the conditions imposed in this order. Must pay all court costs and a $200 prosecution fee in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within 30 days from May 7. Must pay restitution in the amount of $1,272.51 in the office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk within six months from May 7.

Horace Pullins, who was charged with felony shoplifting, has his case entered nolle prosequi in Judge Sanders’ court for the reason that the co-defendant in this case has pled guilty and has exonerated this defendant.

Thursday, April 17:

James Allen Bennett pleaded guilty to grand larceny in Judge Sanders’ court. Sentenced to five years in MDOC. After serving one day, the defendant is place on four years, 364 days formal post release supervision, which shall be supervised under the supervision of MDOC. Full credit given for any time already served in the Adams County Jail. Must pay all court costs and a prosecution fee of $200 within 90 days from April 16 in the Office of the Adams County Circuit Clerk. Bennett, who was also charged with credit card fraud, has his case retired to the inactive files, as a conditional dismissal, without prejudice to the State in Judge Sanders’ court. Jermaine K. Albert, who was charged with burglary of a dwelling, has his case entered nolle prosequi in Judge Sanders’ court for the reason that the defendant has been revoked in Cause No. 07-KR-0141B-S and sentenced to serve seven years in the Mississippi Department of Corrections and defendant entered a guilty plea to uttering a forgery in Cause No. 14-KR-0007-S and was sentenced to serve a term of five years in MDOC, said sentences are to run consecutively, for a total of 12 years to serve.

Friday, April 4:

Charles Woods Jr., who was indicted by a grand jury for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and whose trial was rescheduled from March 19 to April 3, has his case entered nolle prosequi and dismissed in Judge Johnson’s court for the reason that on April 2, 2014, the defendant’s probation in Cause No. 10-KR-0025(A)-J was revoked and he was sentenced accordingly.

Friday, June 20:

Misty Kragenbrink, 34, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $348.

Demetric V. McKnight, 22, charged with simple assault — domestic violence. On motion of defendant’s attorney, case is dismissed — failure of victim to be located and not served.

Mia Carver, 46, pleaded guilty to public drunkenness. Sentenced to 10 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Fine set at $323.

Monday, June 23:

Kendall Blanton, 27, pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $497.

Wednesday, June 25:

Donnalyn Sanders, 53, pleaded guilty to shoplifting ­— first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 19 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. On house arrest for 11 days. Banned from Walmart. Fine set at $598.

Walter C. Thornhill, 73, charged with disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Case dismissed — officer failed to appear on served subpoena.

Samel L. Washington, 26, charged with shoplifting — first offense. Case dismissed for failure of prosecution, complainant not served, and motion of defendant.

Curtis Sanders, 40, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct — failure to comply with officer. Sentenced to 23 days in jail. No fine assessed.

Briana D. Ellis, 23, pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. Banned from store. Fine set at $573.

Virginia Owens Cavin, 52, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.

Guyanthony Allen pleaded guilty to shoplifting — first offense. Sentenced to 30 days with 29 days suspended for one year pending good behavior. To serve one day in jail. Fine set at $673.

Elizabeth Denny pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Driver’s license suspended for six months. Fine set at $493.
