NATCHEZ — The Natchez Board of Alderman has appointed Barbara White-Ware Crenshaw to the Natchez Housing Authority’s board of commissioners. She will finish the unexpired term of the late Leonard Ford Sr.

Crenshaw has a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in education and more than 60 hours in administration, computer science and early childhood education. Crenshaw taught school in the Miss-Lou for more than 20 years. She currently works as the executive director of the Prince Street Neighborhood Project in Natchez.
