LORMAN — Funeral services for Freddie Lee Gaines, 66, of Fayette, who died Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Jefferson County Hospital, will be 11 a.m. Monday at Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorman.

Burial will follow at Old Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery on Old Rodney Road in Lorman under the direction of West Gate Funeral Home.

Visitation will be 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. today at West Gate Funeral Home..

Mr. Gaines was born July 10, 1947 in Lorman, the son of Viola Smith Gaines and Abijah Gaines. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Ruby Smith Jackson, Rebecca White, Izel Smith, Charlie Smith and Gilbert Gaines.

Survivors include his son, Kenny Brown of Lorman and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
